The Maintenance Manager is accountable for the overall operations of the processing facility from a mechanical perspective. As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for a variety of duties and expected to be hands-on in all aspects of maintenance.
Reporting to Kelan Conrad, Plant Manager and working with the management team.
Administration of full PM program for the plant.
Ensuring that Work Orders are actioned within the allotted time frame.
Plant project planning and development.
Accountability for plant utility operation and maintenance of process equipment.
Procurement of maintenance parts and equipment.
Coordinating work of trades and maintenance staff for work projects.
Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematic and drawings to determine work procedures.
Installing, trouble shouting, maintaining and repairing production related equipment throughout the facility.
Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
Follow all safety policies and procedures and adhere to Plant SOPs at all times.
Strong leadership skills.
Project management skills required coordinating trades and implementing projects and maintaining cost control.
Certified &/or experience in the trades would be an asset. Minimum 3-5 years management and supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing facility.
Foundation in preventative and predictive maintenance.
Good organizational abilities, including planning and execution skills, with attention to detail in all areas.
Effective communication skills, both verbal & written. Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to effectively lead the maintenance team, providing guidance and clear direction. Efficiently manage shift schedules.
Understanding of process control systems would be an asset.
